Who is Usher’s wife? All you need to know about Jenn Goicochea

Usher was, as you probably know, the main face of the Halftime Show at Super Bowl 2024, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This represents one more achievement in the long and successful career of the singer, who has won 8 Grammys. Since 2019, he has been accompanied by his girlfriend, the mother to his two children, and following the musical extravaganza, Jenn Goicoechea and the R&B artist tied the knot. But how much do we know about her?
Who is Jenn Goicochea, Usher’s other half?
According to People magazine, Goicoechea has an Italian mother and her father is from Puerto Rico, although Jenn herself grew up in Miami. Her LinkedIn profile says that she studied Recording Arts at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Goicoechea is a music executive and ex-manager, and she joined the music business working with her mother, who worked since 1988 for ACT Productions, an events and multimedia company with their HQ in Miami. According to the same outlet, working with her mother gave Goicoechea the chance to get a role working with the singer Ciara, who started her career in entertainment.
When Goicoechea moved from Florida to the East Coast, she began to represent artists under the company name of Boogs’N’Effect Management. According to her LinkedIn, she worked in ASCAP as a Rhythm and Soul Director as of January 2014.
When did Usher and Goicoechea meet?
In December 2016, Goicoechea announced her departure from the organisation on Instagram. After leaving ASCAP, Goicoechea became the Vice-President of A&R Records, which belongs to Sony Music Entertainment. In 2020 and 2021, Goicoechea and other Epic Record colleagues were nominated as some of the Billboard Power Players in R&B/Hip-Hop.
Rumours of romance between both Usher and Goicoechea began in June 2019 after being photographed together at music producer Keith Thomas’ birthday party. Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, and Goicoechea, welcomed their first child, Sovereign Bo, in 2020, followed by Sire Castrello in 2021. Usher also has two children, Usher V (following the naming tradition) and Naviyd Ely, with his former wife, Tameka Foster.
