There will be plenty of A-listers in attendance for the 2023 Met Gala, which takes place on Monday, May 1.

The stars will be out at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 1, with the 2023 Met Gala set to once again deliver its glitz and glamour.

Arguably one of the most exclusive VIP lists in all of entertainment, the invite list is kept secret until the evening before the event, according to Vogue.

The annual fundraiser for the Costume Institute sees plenty of big name celebrities wear elegant outfits and grace the steps that lead down Fifth Avenue.

This year’s event, which is based around the theme ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, will be no different, as we take a look at who will be attending.

Met Gala co-chairs all expected to attend

Penélope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Roger Federer and Michaela Coel are all expected to be in attendance for the event after being announced as the co-chairs of the annual fashion exhibition.

Joining them will be Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who presides over the event.

While the invite list is kept secret, some stars have already teased that they will be making an appearance at the event, while news has leaked when it comes to others.

Paris Hilton

Having never attended a Met Gala, it looks as though Paris Hilton will finally do so in 2023.

Both TMZ and Page Six recently revealed that the ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer will be on the red carpet on the First Monday in May.

“Paris got the invite from Vogue and the designer of her upcoming look and luckily, she was available to go,” TMZ stated.

“Unclear who she’ll be working with for the outfit, but a big accomplishment like this must warrant a big designer.”

Elle Fanning

One star who let it be known she will be at the event is Elle Fanning.

The 25-year-old told Variety that she is keen to show off her look for the event.

“I sort of sketch everything out so I did a little sketch — an homage to Karl Lagerfeld, of course,” said Fanning.

“I am truly going on theme. I have a good story behind the look that is special to me.”

Kim Kardashian

Although there were rumors the Kardashians would be left off the 2023 Met Gala guest list, it’s since been reported that Kim will once again attend the event.

She made waves last year for wearing Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress.

Florence Pugh

Pugh revealed she will be attending the gala in a Valentino creation, as she is now the face of the luxury brand.

“It’s big, but we like big, don’t we?” she teased.

La La Anthony

A Met Gala regular since 2011, La La Anthony is one of several names who will be hosting the Met Gala live stream on the Vogue website.

“Years ago, I remember always saying, ‘If I ever go to the Met Gala, I’m it,’” Anthony told Vogue.

“That was my bar for fashion. When you get invited, it’s such an honor and an amazing thing, so you just want to have a good time and take it all in.”

Derek Glasberg

The fashion journalist will be hosting the Met Gala live stream on the Vogue website.

Chloe Fineman

Having attended the Met Gala in 2021 and 2022, the ‘Saturday Night Live’ cast member will be hosting the live stream on the Vogue website this year.

Emma Chamberlain

The internet personality and entrepreneur will be hosting the Met Gala live stream on the Vogue website, meaning her presence is a sure thing.
