Who will join Beyoncé on stage at the NFL Christmas halftime show? What we know about possible guests
Beyoncé is set to perform at half-time, but do we know who will join her?
This year, the NFL have given us the Christmas treat of games on the Baby Jesus’s birthday. We all know that he got gold, frankincense and myrrh on his first birthday, but it’s unclear which NFL jersey he got for his next one.
Whichever team he supports, it’s not getting in the way of us enjoying what’s in store on the big day, with Netflix set to showcase the action throughout the day.
Netflix states that the games will be accessible with a standard subscription, with no additional package or payment needed.
Regarding the NFL, they provide further details, noting that in addition to Netflix, the games will also be “broadcast locally on television” within the home and away team markets.
Which songs will Beyoncé perform at half-time?
Beyoncé is set to perform during halftime of the game between the Texans and the Ravens, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. EST.
While her exact setlist remains a mystery, Netflix has confirmed that she will feature songs from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, accompanied by unnamed special guests from the album.
Who will she invite as special guests?
The album’s collaborators include Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Shaboozey, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton who have all been rumoured to join her, although it’s unclear who will share the stage.
Details about the performance length are also under wraps. Her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, was quick to dismiss speculation that it will last 20 minutes.
The Chiefs will take on the Steelers in the earlier kick-off (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT.) before the Ravens go up against the Texans (4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT.). Beyoncé is set to perform during halftime of the latter.
