After Robert Glasper won the award for Best R&B Album for his album ‘Black Radio III’, Chris Brown let it be known on Instagram that he wasn’t happy with the decision.

“BRO WHO THE F–K IS THIS?” the 33-year-old rapper captioned a screenshot of his google search of Glasper, which described the Houston artist as ‘an American pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger with a career that bridges several different musical and artistic genres.”

In the now-deleted Instagram stories, Brown asks again “YALL PLAYING 😂😂😂😂😂 WHO DA F–K IS THIS?”

The rapper, who was not in attendance at the ceremony, shared a third story that showed a meme that reads, “WH😂 THE F*CK IS ROBERT GLASPER,” before telling his followers he’s “gotta get [his] skills up” and “start playing the harmonica.”

Finally in his fourth and final post about the loss, Brown shared a photoshopped image of him playing the harmonica with the caption, “New Level Unlocked! Harmonica Breezy.”

Brown’s singular nomination came for his 10th studio album titled ‘Breezy (Deluxe), which debuted at number four on the billboard 200 charts.

Out of the 21 Grammy Awards Brown has been nominated for, he’s only taken home one in 2012 for his R&B album ‘F.A.M.E.’, which won Best R&B Album at the time.

Glasper has been nominated 12 times across eight different categories. His win on Sunday was his fourth Grammy since 2010, when he was first nominated for Best Urban/Alternative Performance.

Glasper was up against Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Lucky Daye and PJ Morton in the Best R&B Album category. He was also nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical but ended up losing to Harry Styles’ album ‘Harry House.’

‘Black Radio III’ is Glasper’s ninth studio album. Released in February 2022, the album features a mixture of jazz, R&B hip-hop, and soul influences. It also features various artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, H.E.R. Q-Tip, and more.

He’s also worked as a writer and producer and has been featured on several albums by artists such as Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, Common, Anderson Paak, and more.
