“I have always been a very proud American, and I love my country very much,” Stone said.

“Of course, I am deeply concerned with what’s happening in my country now. This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression,” she added.

Stone was later interviewed during a red carpet moment, where she mentioned that she was certainly considering purchasing a house in Italy, a move which she described as “an intelligent construct at this time.”

When asked if her plan was politically motivated, the actress said, “Naturally.” She once again mentioned that presidential candidates are running on a platform of hate, which she said the United States has not faced before.
