Popular actor Zac Efron was admitted to a hospital in Ibiza on Friday after suffering an accident in a swimming pool in a villa on the island. TMZ reported that the actor was transferred to a local hospital, which his representative said was a precautionary measure after a “minor swimming incident”.
The actor spent a night in the hospital, but has since been released and is recovering. How did the incident happen? Sources told TMZ that Efron was found in the pool by two villa workers who were able to pull him out of the water. The exact causes of the accident that led the actor to a hospital are currently unknown.
The actor has been traveling around Europe the past month, being photographed at summer destinations like St. Tropez, Mykonos, and Paris, aside from Ibiza.
