Ryan Gosling is Kenough for the Oscars
After months of speculation, Gosling will indeed perform ‘I’m Just Ken’ live at the Oscars, according to various reports. In a front-page article in Variety in early February, Gosling stated that the Academy had not yet asked him to perform. “Perhaps it’s too risky for me to do it,” the Best Supporting Actor nominee said. “I’m not sure how that would work. But I’m open to it,” he added.
Mark Ronson, the composer of the song alongside Andrew Wyatt, told Variety at the Grammys that his dream was for Gosling to perform at the Academy Awards and that they wouldn’t substitute him with someone else. “I think if Ryan doesn’t do it, then we won’t do it.” It now appears it’s on!
