The date on which retired workers receive their monthly payment depends on their day of birth, while Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits are distributed on the first of each month.

- Those receiving benefits since May 1997 or before*: Friday, 2 February
- Birthday (1-10): Wednesday, 14 February
- Birthday (11-20): Wednesday, 21 February
- Birthday (21-31): Wednesday, 28 February
*Also applies to beneficiaries who receive Social Security and SSI
Supplemental Security Income
Payments for SSI are made on the first of the month unless it falls on a holiday or weekend. In those cases, it will paid on the previous business day.
