Great Value is one of Walmart’s house brands, which means the products generally have lower prices compared to products from leading brands in the market. Although many of the brand’s products meet customer standards, its traditional basil pesto is one that has received a number of negative reviews.
Some of the complaints report that the taste is bitter and vinegary, that basil is not even listed among its ingredients, and that a few days after being opened and refrigerated, the product became moldy.
