$675 tax refund check: in which state and who will receive it?
Some residents in the United States are now eligible for a tax refund of up to $675. Here’s more on who will get it and when.
Some Montana residents are eligible for a tax refund of more than $600 thanks to the Property Tax Rebate. The Property Tax Rebate is a refund of up to $675 per year on property taxes paid for a primary residence. There is a rebate available for property taxes paid for the 2023 tax year, which can be claimed this year.
The rebate is either $675 or an amount not exceeding the property taxes paid on a primary residence in Montana for the 2023 tax year, according to the Montana Department of Revenue’s website. For example, if you paid $425 in property taxes on your primary residence in Montana in 2023, you would receive a property tax refund of $425. However, if you paid more than $675, the maximum refund you can receive is $675. Only one refund per household is allowed.
