Update:

As they seek to make ends meet each month, many workers look to supplement the income brought in by their day job. That’s the case for Line, a woman from the Gard region in southern France.

“I gave it a shot, and I liked it”

In an interview with M6’s program Capital, later reported by French outlet Midi Libre, Line shared what life was like before taking on a second job that now helps her cover her gas expenses.

“I worked as an industrial line operator. I’d finish around 3:30 p.m.,” she explained. Last summer, she decided to try out the Tut Tut app, which connects users with package delivery opportunities. “A friend told me about Tut Tut, I gave it a shot, and I liked it.”

Line also pointed out that the work enabled by this app “is practical for people who don’t own a car” and even for those who “work all day or have kids and can’t always get out.” According to the report, in just a few months, she has delivered a total of 95 packages.

It’s an income stream that tops up her salary as an industrial operator and has also helped her build a client base in this new side gig - one that she finds rewarding and plans to continue both in the medium and long term.
