You might be skeptical when you hear about it, but restaurants are actually offering deals and giving away freebies on April Fools’ Day, no joke!
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme often has promotions on special days, and April Fools’ is no different. If you buy a dozen doughnuts, you can get a dozen original glazed doughnuts for only $4.01. They usually cost $12.99 to purchase.

Wendy’s
The promotion of Wendy’s for the day is so enticing, you are likely to think it’s a prank, but it isn’t. If you are lucky enough to snag it, you get not just one free breakfast sandwich, but 52!
On Monday, April 1, the first 100 customers who are in line beginning at 2 p.m. and order something from the menu will receive a coupon card valid for one free Breakfast Sandwich every week for one year at any participating branch.
However, it can be a bit of a challenge to get a hold of the deal, because it’s only available in more than 250 locations across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Cheesecake Factory
Cheesecake Factory is adding a bit of mystery to its offer for the day. Loyal clients who have already signed up for The Cheesecake Factory’s Cheesecake Rewards program will have a chance to win one of the following surprise rewards: a free cheesecake slice, $10 off a $40 purchase, $5 off a $25 purchase, a free whole cheesecake, or a free cheesecake slice each month for a year.
Round Table Pizza
To celebrate April Fools’ Day, Round Table Pizza will be giving customers the opportunity to get $5 off a large or extra large pizza at participating locations with the code APRIL1.
BJ’s Restaurant
The star of BJ’s Restaurant’s promotion for the day is its signature Pizookie- a pan with a warm chocolate cookie with ice cream on top. The restaurant is topping the creation with dill pickle slices for an unusual savory/sweet pairing. On April Fools’ Day, customers who make a minimum purchase of $14.95 will get a free Pizickle Pizookie or any of the 10 flavors of the cookie dessert.
