Can you return products bought on Cyber Monday 2024? Here’s how to do it
Cyber Monday is a prime shopping event before Christmas but make sure you are aware of the return policies for the product you’re buying.
Most retailers allow returns for items purchased on Cyber Monday unless specified otherwise. Typically, the standard return policy applies, but it’s essential to read the fine print for exceptions. Many retailers may mark certain items as “final sale,” meaning they cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return windows can vary. Some retailers may offer up to 90 days, while others might limit returns to just a few days post-purchase. For instance, Apple has extended its return policy for items bought between November 8 and December 25, allowing returns until January 8, 2025.
To qualify for a return, products need to be in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. The receipt or proof of purchase is also a necessity. Retailers may not accept returns on used or damaged.
If available, returning items in-store can expedite the process and avoid shipping costs.
Certain products, like personalized items or perishable goods, are often non-returnable.
