Update:

As major banks continue to reassess their physical presence in communities across the country, Chase has closed seven branches this year and plans to shutter nine more in the coming months. Banks are required to report branch closures and openings to the Federal Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Despite these closures, the financial giant has also opened ten new branches and plans to establish more than fifty additional locations. Thousands of branch branches have closed each year since 2018, according to Indeed, which has vastly limited in-person assistance to customers of all major financial institutions. Nevertheless, the current reports from Chase indicate that more branches could be opened than closed in 2025.
