Update:

In the market, for an easy-to-set-up Christmas tree, you don’t need to battle each year?

Increasingly, companies are beginning to make almost robotic trees, requiring very little work to set up. Broadly, many retailers refer to this type of artificial tree as a ‘flip tree.’ These trees are often motorized, and once you stack the pieces in the corner of the house you want to fill with Christmas cheer, you use a remote to bring the branches down so that they are flushed. The lights are already installed, and when you are done with the tree for the season, you can use the remote to lift the branches and store them.

When the branches are lifted, it gives the illusion of a Christmas tree purchased on a lot that has been tied up so that it can be transported more easily.

A TikTok user named Mamashive showcased a tree of this kind that her parents own and showed how easy it was to put together.

Who produces this kind of tree?

There are a few options when it comes to buying a ‘robotic tree.’

The tree featured in Mamashive’s video was from a company called Grow Xmas Trees. It is a Grow and Stow variety. They offer over a dozen options, so customers can select the type of Christmas tree they like. There are lit and unlit options.

Another retailer is Balsam Hills, which sells a ‘Flip Tree’ that uses the same technology as those seen in the TikTok video. This company also has dozens of options starting at $899

Storing the tree could be an issue for some with limited space

The only downside with a tree like this is that it will not fit back into a small box, so you must have a place to store it. The tree comes with bags that allow the tree to be stored easily.
