Could Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs be linked to the death of Tupac Shakur

The family of Tupac Shakur has hired a high-power New York attorney to investigate a possible link between the rappers 1996 murder and P Diddy.

Shakur’s family hires attorney to link Diddy to Tupac’s murder

Tupac Shakur was shot four times in the chest while at a stoplight in Las Vegas in September 1996. His murder went unsolved for 27 years until a former gang leader, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, was arrested and charged with the crime last year. So far, he is the only person that has been charged in connection with the California Love rapper’s murder.

However, it has long been speculated that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was if not directly, at least indirectly responsible for the untimely death of Tupac just 25 years old at the time. Now, Shakur’s family has hired high-profile New York attorney Alex Spiro to investigate a possible link to the rapper currently incarcerated in a Brooklyn prison charged with sex trafficking, forced sexual labor, kidnapping, arson, and various other offenses.

Davis, who is currently in prison awaiting trial in Las Vegas, has previously claimed that Combs was involved in the planning of Shakur’s murder and offered him $1 million for a hit on Tupac. Additionally, Court TV reports that Marion ‘Suge’ Knight Jr, who was in the car with Tupac and was injured in the shooting, allegedly told people that Combs was “responsible, if not directly, indirectly for the murder of his good friend,” according to a detective who testified before the grand jury that indicted Davis.

The sentiment of Suge Knight, one of the founders of the Death Row Records, has been expressed by other rappers in their music. As well that it led to the drive-by shooting of Christopher Wallace, also known as ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ the following year.

Most recently, in Eminem’s new song ‘Fuel’ he raps “Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of Tupac’s murder, like facial tissue, who’s clock should I clean next? Puff’s? ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up?” He also made an earlier reference in his 2018 song ‘Killshot’ to Diddy putting a hit out on Tupac.

The disgraced music mogul has long denied any prior knowledge of or involvement in Tupac’s murder.
