Donald Trump blasts George Clooney for calling on Biden to drop out of the race
Trump posted a tirade against George Clooney after the celebrity’s open letter to Joe Biden, in which he called on the president to drop out of the race.
The opinion article by George Clooney, in which he asks Joe Biden to get out of the race for the presidency of the country, has drawn a rebuke from Donald Trump.
Hours after the actor’s open letter dominated the headlines of various media outlets, the former president went to his social media platform, Truth Social, to send a direct message to the celebrity: “Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television.”
According to Clooney’s plea to the presumptive Democratic nominee, Biden is no longer the man he used to be in 2010, or even in 2020, he is “the same man we all witnessed at the debate.” For that reason he called on key Democrats to talk to Biden and ask him to voluntarily withdraw from the race to make way for a new presidential candidate. This opinion was highly criticized by the former president.

Donald Trump attacks George Clooney for asking Biden to leave the race
Trump claims Clooney turned on Biden “like the rats they are” after the veteran Hollywood actor co-hosted a fundraiser for Biden’s campaign just a few weeks ago. Likewise, he said that the Oceans 11 star doesn’t know anything about politics and that Clooney simply “uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden... has ‘saved our Democracy.’”
“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are. What does Clooney know about anything?? He uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has ‘saved our Democracy,’” he posted on Truth Social.
Trump continued with his rant, adding that during the Biden Administration illegal immigration increased and denied that he was the savior of democracy. “Crooked Joe Biden didn’t save our Democracy, he brought our Democracy to its knees. Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!,” he concluded.
