If you are a fan of pumpkin spice and everything fall, you have a chance to get the gig of your dreams. Apply to be a taster of Trader Joe’s fall flavors.
If you get excited for fall because you know it’s the season for pumpkin spice everything, the side hustle of your dreams is up for grabs.
Financial advice website FinanceBuzz is searching for the perfect person to serve as their “Pumpkin Spice Pundit” for the season.
Pundit to purchase Pumpkin Palooza products
The lucky candidate who will be chosen will have the chance to test and rate all of the Pumpkin Palooza fall season offerings of Trader Joe’s.
The goodies include fall-inspired beverages like pumpkin-spiced brew and breakfast favorites like pumpkin waffles and cinnamon rolls.
The taster will then use the information gathered from trying more than 20 fall-inspired food items to help the grocery chain’s customers choose which ones are the best for them.
FinanceBuzz will pay the selected Pumpkin Spice Pundit $1,000 for conducting this (tasty) market research, and pay for the goodies they will consume by using a $500 Trader Joe’s gift card.

Before applying, here are the details and requirements of the gig, which is only available to people based in the United States who are at least 18 years old.
According to FinanceBuzz, you must live near a Trader Joe’s where you can shop in person. You then buy one of each of the available seasonal food items to use for the taste test.
You will need to take a photo of each item, rate them using different criteria, and write up how your experience was.

The site will share your input so that shoppers can purchase the best fall snacks for their budget.
To apply, fill out a Pumpkin Spice Pundit application form on the FinanceBuzz website by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2024. The choice will be made by Sept. 13, and the successful candidate will be sent the good news through email.
The pundit will have until Oct. 6 to taste all of Trader Joe’s fall items and turn in their findings.
