Experts warn: If your partner does these things, they might not be that into you
There are a range of cues your romantic partner may give off if they’re losing interest in their relationship with you.
If your romantic partner is falling out of love with you, there a number of physical and non-physical cues that they may give off.
“True feelings come out”
When it comes to body language, explains HuffPost’s Jillian Wilson, it’s very hard for a person to conceal a waning interest in their other half.
“You can try to bury your emotions as much as you like, but even when you try to hide them, your true feelings come out," Wilson writes.
Citing a range of experts in human behavior, Wilson has compiled a list of major physical tells that your partner is no longer into you. They include:
- Maintaining physical distance
- Not being touchy-feely
- Making minimal eye contact
- Having a sad resting face
However, as the psychologist Blanca Cobb tells HuffPost, you must always interpret these cues within the context of your partner’s general personality.
“We have to understand their baseline behavior”
“One person naturally might be more gregarious than another person. Another person, naturally, might be more reserved,” Cobb says.
She adds: “We have to understand their baseline behavior to know when we see changes in behavior.”
