From memes to mainstream: Delulu, skibidi, and more added to the dictionary
Here are all the newest official words in the English language.

Do you have rizz? Why is America turning into a broligarchy? Do you think Piers Morgan is a bit delulu with no solulu? It turns out I’m not talking rubbish, I’m just cool and down with the kids, bro.
The English language is constantly in motion, like a shapeshifting Pokémon that forever moulds and adapts to its surroundings. And this year, we’ve had more than 6,000 new words that have been made official, although it’s probably best not to say them in your next meeting.
The Cambridge Dictionary draws on the Cambridge English Corpus—a database of over two billion written and spoken words—to track how new words are used by different people, how frequently they appear, and in what contexts.
