He visited every country in the world and singled out one city he wouldn’t return to: “It wouldn’t be on my list”
A 25-year-old has visited every country in the world and he if had to do it all over again, there is one city that he would not return to.

At just 25 years old, Cameron Mofid has pulled off a feat almost no one achieves: visiting every country on Earth. His fascination with other cultures started early, driven by a constant curiosity about how people live in far‑off places.
The idea of taking on this challenge took shape during his freshman year at the University of Miami, when he came across an article noting that more people have traveled to space than have visited every country in the world. That fact pushed him to set a goal that went far beyond tourism — it became a personal mission.
To make it happen, Mofid saved steadily throughout college while working in marketing. After graduating, he set off on a journey that took him through conflict zones, remote islands, and historic corners of the globe. In April 2025, he reached country number 195 in North Korea, a milestone verified by the international travel community NomadMania.
The places that stood out — and one that didn’t
After completing his global trek, Mofid highlighted a few cities that left a strong impression. Sydney made the list for its friendly locals and stunning natural surroundings. Valletta, the capital of Malta, impressed him with its dense concentration of history. He also recommended Krabi, Thailand, which surprised him with its dramatic landscapes and authentic local experiences.
But not every stop resonated the same way. Although India gave him unforgettable cultural moments, New Delhi fell short of his expectations.
Crowded, polluted and noisy
“I’m glad I went, and India as a whole left an unforgettable mark on me. But if I were planning another trip, it wouldn’t be on my list,” he told Yahoo.
He cited pollution, constant traffic, and a lack of places that personally appealed to him as reasons why the city wouldn’t be a priority on a future visit.
