The favorite season of shopping lovers has arrived: Amazon Prime Day. Year after year, the e-commerce giant holds a sales event. Initially, this event lasted 24 hours, however, due to its popularity, Prime Day extended its duration to 48 hours, resulting in a two-day extravaganza of offers.

Through Prime Day, Amazon offers discounts and promotions on various products, ranging from Fire TV Sticks, Fire Tablets, Fire TV. Users will also be able to find incredible offers on technology, beauty, personal care and home basics products, just to name a few.

When is Prime Day?

For this 2024, Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17 and will be available in various countries globally, including Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. The event will also come to Poland and Sweden for the first time.

To participate in Prime Day and enjoy the great offers you must have an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. In addition to getting free shipping and Prime Day deals, membership also includes access to Prime Video, Prime Music, and GrubHub+.

This is how you can get an Amazon credit before Prime Day

If you plan to buy something on Prime Day you may want to get a $20 credit to spend during the event. According to a company statement, Amazon Prime users who upload first time a photograph to Amazon Photos may obtain a credit for said amount that they can use to buy products on the platform.

Once they do so, they will receive an email from the company to confirm the credit. This email can take up to four days to arrive, so customers who want to use it for Prime Day must upload their photo before July 12.

Those Prime users who have already used the Photos service previously will not be able to enjoy this credit as it is only available to new users. Those who have the trial version will also not be eligible.
