Margot Robbie has become one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood in the last decade. After her breakthrough role in The Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie has featured in a number of huge blockbuster film franchises as well as heading up her own as Harley Quinn in the DC superhero series.

She has been recognised for her acting skill with a number of award nominations and wins. Perhaps among her most prestigious are her four BAFTA nominations for her roles in I, Tonya, Mary Queen of Scots and Once Upoon a Time in Hollywood.

The Golden Globe awards are coming up this week and Robbie is no stranger to receiving a nomination from the Hollywood Foreign Press.

Has Margot Robbie won a Golden Globe before?

Robbie has received two previous nominations for a Golden Globe but is yet to win one.

Her first nomination came in 2018 for her lead role in I, Tonya, in which she protrayed disgraced American figure skater Tonya Harding. Her next nomination came two years later for her portrayal of Kayla Pospisil in Bombshell. The 2018 award was won by Olivia Coleman and the 2020 award was won by Rosamund Pike.

While not yet winning an award her next chance comes in 2023 with her nomination for Best Actress in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon. Though the film has received middling reviews, Robbie has been praised for her performance.
