How many shoes did Trump sell and how much did the sneakers cost?

Though not produced by the former president, a licensing agreement means he should reap a much needed financial reward.

After his bombshell combined $450 million lawsuit costs, Donald Trump needs all income streams available to pay. It seems he has found one, or rather 1,000.

The 1,000 pairs of gold sneakers went on sale earlier this week before immediately selling out. The shoes, called “The Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker,” sold for $399 a pair.

“I’ve wanted to do this a long time,” the former US president said. The launch had no prior announcement.

According to the website, the products are “trademarks of CIC Ventures LLC. Trump Sneakers are not designed, manufactured, distributed or sold by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals. 45Footwear, LLC uses the Trump name, image and likeness under a license agreement.”

Despite not being from Trump himself, they havee featured in campaign promotions for the former president’s 2024 challenge.
