Update:

Feeling the sting of a busted bracket? TGI Fridays has a delicious pick-me-up for college basketball fans drowning their sorrows. Throughout the entire March Madness tournament, they’re offering a consolation prize: six free boneless wings to mend your wounded bracket pride.

“We know our guests see Fridays as their go-to spot to watch those can’t-miss games, so we’re bringing even more value to the table to ensure their game day experiences are a total slam dunk,” said Weldon Spangler, CEO of TGI Fridays, in the news release.

Here’s how to claim your complimentary wings:

  • Show your shattered dreams: Dust off your crumpled bracket, be it a physical copy or a digital one on your phone.
  • Order a beverage or meal: The free wings are an add-on to your regular dine-in purchase. Whether you crave a juicy burger or just need a refreshing drink, any menu item qualifies.
  • Dine in for commiseration: This offer is exclusive to dine-in customers, so gather your fellow bracket-breakers and head to your local TGI Fridays.

This offer is valid from the opening tip-off on 19 March to the championship game on 8 April , giving you ample time to redeem your wings (and maybe even watch the real games for some inspiration next year).

But before you dash out the door, remember: this promotion is not available at every TGI Fridays location. A quick call to your local restaurant can confirm they’re participating in the “busted bracket” deal.
