The Wendy’s franchise has become a favorite for many hamburger lovers, and this month, there’s a reason for them to love it even more. The company announced that starting this month, it will offer a very special promotion, aimed primarily at basketball fans to celebrate the March Madness tournament. The contest will determine the best university team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Wendy’s will make the deal available through the company’s app. Customers who are registered in the application will be able to enjoy the restaurant’s signature Dave’s Single burger for just one dollar or the Dave’s Double for only two dollars.

The offer will be valid until April 10, giving fans of burgers and basketball a lot of time to take advantage of the promotion. Wendy’s clarified that drinks and other add-ons must be paid for separately, and that customers can only take advantage of the deal one time.

To be able to access the promotion, you must be a member of the company’s rewards program that will allow you to take advantage of this and other discounts. During the final of the university tournament, Wendy’s has announced that it will provide the public with more offers along with gifts.

The latest promotion comes following strong consumer reaction after the chain announced a few weeks ago that it planned to implement dynamic pricing.

The franchise invested nearly $20 million in modernizing its digital menus in all its establishments. The main idea is to adapt the offer to the tastes of each user of the application thanks to the use of artificial intelligence and market research. The company clarifies that the dynamic pricing model they plan to employ aims to offer more advantages to the consumer during less-crowded hours of each location.
