Dwayne Johnson is making more headlines. After the premiere of his latest project, Black Adam, the actor wanted to make up for mistakes he made as a naughty teenager, and he has shared the generous act via his Instagram profile. The Rock had a bad habit during his adolescence days, stealing chocolates from a 24-hour store that was very close to the gym where he was going to train.

I was doing it for at least a year,” he began confessing, explaining that it was at a time when he could not afford to buy the items.

Perhaps upon learning of the situation of the young Dwayne Johnson, the store manager looked the other way at that moment, as the future wrestling icon aimed to ingest a certain number of calories before going to his daily training.

It was a situation far from the current one, where one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood rakes in his fortune. And so he decided to return to that store decades later in an attempt to make up for what he’d done by taking all the chocolates he could lay his hands on, while the employees watched on in amazement. One after another, Johnson collected the chocolates until he had filled a huge bag which he placed on the counter.

How much chocolate did The Rock buy?

In some of the images on his posts we can see the employee counting up the chocolates while raising the bill to almost $300. “If you think someone is stealing Snickers, give them one of these so they don’t steal,” he told the clerk.

Johnson wanted to pay back for those chocolates that he had stolen for a year.

We cannot change the past and some of the silly things that we may have done. But, from time to time we can fix the situation with a little note of gratitude,” he concluded.
