Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, dies at 43: What was the cause of death?

Ukrainian businessman Leonid Radvinsky, the creator of the adult content platform OnlyFans, has died at 43, the company has announced. Radvinsky, who settled in the United States early in life, had been living with cancer for some time. He was married, and it is not known whether he had children.

The businessman’s family has asked for privacy following the news. Radvinsky, who graduated in economics from Northwestern University in 2002, bought the bulk of Fenix International in 2018. That company owned OnlyFans, which at the time was still just a startup in the development stage.

Radvinsky was no newcomer to platforms for selling adult content. He had previously founded MyFreeCams, a webcam site where the same kind of videos were produced and consumed. He kept an extremely low profile, rarely giving interviews or using accounts on social media platforms.

In 2025, the company was valued at close to $8 billion, underscoring the immense profitability of the business. In 2024, Radvinsky received dividends of close to $700 million, allowing him to grow his fortune to $4.7 billion, according to Forbes’ 2025 list.
