Update:

If you missed out on Black Friday’s special offers, Cyber Monday is just as competitive as limited products will be placed on sale.

One of the benefits of Cyber Monday is that you can shop from the comfort of your own home, avoiding queues and the scramble to snap up the latest electronics. However, there are some tips one should know if they plan to shop online on the e-commerce discount day.

This year, Cyber Monday, will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025.

This year, market analysts forecast that consumer spending will be higher on Black Friday and Cyber Monday compared to last year, when $10.8 billion was splurged online buying bargain goods in the US alone just on Black Friday. Globally, $74.4 billion was spent.

Last year also saw the biggest ever figures recorded on Cyber Monday - with US consumers spending a total of $13.3 billion, a 5% increase on 2023.

The deals come online early

For the best deals you will want to start early as many come online around right when the clock strikes midnight. Depending on the retailer, that could mean midnight Pacific or Eastern standard time.

In many cases, the retailers will work on the West Coast timetable, meaning that other shoppers may need to wake up at 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 in the morning...

Many retailers have already published details of the deals that they will offer and making sure you know what you are looking for can help you quickly add the most demanded products to your cart and check out quickly.

When does Cyber Monday begin at Walmart?

Walmart is offering thousands of gifts under $20 and up to 60% off top-brands - on online purchases only.

Walmart is offering members who pay an annual subscription (Walmart+ members) early access to Cyber Monday deals. Walmart+ members will get five hours early access online beginning Sunday November 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

At midnight on Monday, December 1, the deals will be open to all customers. Supplies are limited on many of the most sought after and discounted products, including televisions and small kitchen appliances.

Walmart+ is a subscription program that gives members access to exclusive benefits. The service costs $98 per year or $8.17 per month, and includes a 30‑day free trial so new users can test it out before committing.

What about Target?

Target’s Cyber Monday event starts at 2 a.m. CT on Sunday November 30 and runs through Monday December 1, exclusively on Target.com and in the Target app with select offers available in-store.

The chain is offering deals on thousands of items of up to 50% off on seasonal items such as toys, apparel and shoes, tech, kitchen appliances, furniture, home décor... Among the promotions: up to $200 savings on select Apple devices and up to 50% off tech including brands like Bose, Sony, Beats and Meta.

Best Buy closed for Thanksgiving Day to give employees a day off but reopened for Black Friday and will be open on Cyber Monday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
