Are you looking for freebies and deals on National Coffee Day? We have you covered!

Chains and local coffee shops across the country are offering specials to entice customers; here are some of the most popular options.

For those that don’t make a list because they are local or regional chains, it’s best to check on social media for possible giveaways.

Some of the largest chains including Starbucks and McDonald’s have decided not to offer any freebies this year. Both chains offer rewards programs that can help keep prices down throughout the year should someone download their apps and sign up.

Krispy Kreme, which can be found across the country, will be giving out coffee and donuts. There is no purchase necessary to receive a free iced or hot coffee. Additionally, Krispy Kreme Rewards members can get a donut too.

Sheetz, the convienence store, will offer a free cold brew of any size to those who visit the chain all day.

Rewards for members

Similarly, many other chains will be offering deals to their loyalty members.

Using the Burger King App, Royal Perks members can use the app to get a free small iced coffee with any purchase over one dollar between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. all week.

Dunkin Donuts is offering a special to their DD Perks members, which includes a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase.

Panera Bread is hoping to use National Coffee Day to expand membership in their Unlimited Sip Club, which provides unlimited coffee and other drinks for $10.99 a month. Those who sign up on 29 September will receive two months free. Members, on the other hand, will receive a coupon for $2 off a barista beverage or smoothie.

Buy-one-get-one

Blue Bottle Coffee which has seventy locations scattered across Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, California, and New York, will provide a free blend or single origin pour-over or cold brew to anyone who purchases an 8-ounce bag of whole bean coffee.

Barnes & Noble shoppers can get a free coffee with the purchase of any pastry served at their cafes. The same deal will be offered at Peet’s Coffee.

Duck Donuts, the smaller coffee chain, will also have a similar deal: a medium coffee or cold brew with the purchase of a donut.

The smaller chain, La Colombe, is offing a BOGO fifty percent off for their 12-ounce box of coffee beans sold both in stores and on their website. The deal will be active between 29 September and International Coffee Day, which takes place on 1 October.
