Through an exclusive for the US edition of the Italian magazine, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife has broken her silence on the various rumors that exist about an alleged bad relationship between her and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
According to several tabloids, the friction between Victoria and Nicola began after the actress refused to wear a design by the ex-Spice Girl for the wedding with her eldest son, opting for a couture dress by Valentino.

Faced with such rumours, Nicola revealed that Victoria ghosted her by not responding for days. Subsequently, The ex-Spice Girl contacted Claudia Heffner Peltz, Nicola’s mother, to tell her that her workshop could not have the dress ready, which is why she changed the designer.
“Well, I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. I thought that was so beautiful and such a beautiful story. We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by, and I didn’t hear anything,” she told the outlet. “Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.”
Addressing the feud with the Beckham matriarch further, Nicola showed how the rumors about her and her mother-in-law make her feel:
“When I read things that say [things like] I was never planning on wearing a [Victoria Beckham] dress or things like that, it does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it’s just not the truth. It’s just a bit of a bummer when you’re like, ‘Oh, people think that,’ but it’s just not true,” Peltz finished.
Victoria Beckham thinks Nicola uses Brooklyn for her last name
Nicola’s exclusive comes days after the British tabloid Heat World reported that Victoria believes her daughter-in-law married her son for his last name since her daughter-in-law is hungry for fame.
“Vic says Nicola is not the charming girl they first met,” revealed an insider close to Posh for the entertainment magazine. “Nicola wasn’t really famous before she met Brooklyn. Sure, she was rich, but she was an actress with a few small movies to her name. Since she married a Beckham, her profile has skyrocketed.”
