Update:

It’s been over twenty years since Nike first released the Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” sneakers, which came out at the start of the 2002-2003 NBA season. He wore them on the court while playing for the Washington Wizards in what would be his final season in the NBA.

The classic retro sneakers will drop Saturday 15 March at retailers around the nation and are sure to be in demand among sneakerheads. The Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” sneakers are priced at $210 for adult sizes and $160 for kids. Here’s a look at what you’ll get for your money.

Features on the Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” sneakers

The AJ9 sneakers feature three color tones including cool grey, medium grey, and white. As always, they have the iconic “Jumpman” logo, which is located on the side of each midsole, on the sole at the heel, and on the back of the sneaker. Additionally, Jordan’s No. 23 features prominently on the back of the Air Jordan 9.

The uppers of these signature shoes are made from genuine leather as well as a strip around the base of the sneaker from toe to heel.
