When is the next Powerball drawing?
Monday’s Powerball grand prize reset to $20 million after two separate tickets, one bought in Florida, the other in Texas, shared the jackpot for the previous drawing on Saturday, May 4.
With no tickets matching all the numbers and the Powerball, the grand prize has climbed to an estimated $30 million for the next drawing at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The cash value is currently $13.5 million.

What are your odds of winning the Powerball jackpot? What happens if there are multiple winners?
Per the lottery’s organizers, a single Powerball ticket - which can be purchased for $2 - brings with it a one-in-292,201,338 chance of landing the jackpot.
If you do win the pot, you are given two options:
- Collect the jackpot amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
- Receive the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment
As there were two winning tickets on Saturday, their holders will each receive a 50% share of the advertized jackpot/cash-option figure, whichever option they choose.
What other prizes are up for grabs?
While the Powerball jackpot captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller amounts to be won. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.
Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.
