Payment schedule for SNAP Benefits in October 2024 in each state: dates, amounts...

The Department of Agriculture will apply the 2025 cost-of-living increase to payments that will be issued this October. Here are the dates and amounts.

The United States offers various forms of economic aid, among them the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, popularly known as SNAP. Through this, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) issues payments to qualified beneficiaries.

The program aims to benefit low-income families who struggle with putting food on their tables. The financial assistance is issued monthly to an EBT debit card, which can be used to acquire food in selected supermarkets, shops and markets on wheels.

Although SNAP is a federal program, the distribution of funds is administered at the state level, so the amounts, requirements and distribution dates may vary from state to state.
