Reactions to ICE shooting in Minnesota: Politicians and Mayor Jacob Frey don’t hold back: “Get the f*** out of Minneapolis”
Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis had strong words to say against ICE after the brutal shooting of a woman.

“Get the f*** out of Minneapolis.” Mayor Jacob Frey made his feelings abundantly clear when he took to the microphone after the news broke of the horrific scenes on the streets of the city which saw a woman in her thirties shot multiple times in the face by ICE agents as she followed their orders.
Speaking to CNN, the mayor said: “Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly: that is bulls**t. This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying, getting killed.”
“I’ll say it again, is bullsh*t. That is bullsh*t. The way that they’ve been conducting themselves is also bullsh*t, and we need to be very clear-eyed about what is happening,” Frey said about ICE agents in the town.

ICE agents “causing chaos and distrust”
“They are not here to cause safety in this city,” he added, “What they are doing is not to provide safety in America. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust.
Last month, Trump sent 1,500 ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations agents and 650 Homeland Security Investigations agents into the state of Minnesota.
“Long-term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorised and now somebody is dead,” he said. “That’s on you, and it’s also on you to leave.”

“We are going to meet that hate with love,” he concluded. “They want an excuse to come in and show the kind of force that will create more chaos and more despair. Let’s not let them,” he said.
