There’s now doubt that New York City is one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in the world but in the past few decades, a series of challenges have seen many residents look at living alternatives.

The cost of living is deemed to be the biggest complication in the ‘City that Never Sleeps’ with rent in all the boroughs soaring in the past few years. This factor coupled with everyday expenses such as groceries, transportation, and entertainment.

To afford a comfortable living space, one needs a well-paid job and the city is a hub for ambitious people in various fields which leads to an incredibly competitive job market.
