She gets the highest score in the university entrance exam and the director gives her an incredible gift: “she will inspire every student in the country”
A student in Kazakhstan got much more than just a place at her university of choice after a superb exam performance.

Before sitting a university entrance exam, the incentive for most students to pass is simply to get into the school of their choice. It has emerged, however, that one hopeful in Kazakhstan got much more than she bargained for after getting especially outstanding grades.
Zhanaim Rashid, a student at the national Zerdeli Educational Center in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital city, scored the maximum 140 points in the Unified National Testing (UNT), an annual standardized assessment used for university admissions in Kazakhstan. It serves a similar purpose to the SAT or ACT in the United States.
By passing the exam with flying colors, the youngster is now certain to achieve her dream of studying International Relations at Nazarbayev University, one of the most prestigious in Kazakhstan.
Kazakh student special gift as “reward for dedication”
But due to scoring 100% in the assessment, Yrysbek Mauit, the founder of the Zerdeli Educational Center and Zhanaim’s head educator, decided to gift her a Zeekr, a high-end electric car, as a reward for her hard work and outstanding results.
“Zhanaim’s success is a powerful example of what passion for learning and determination can achieve,” said Mauit. “She set a goal and pursued it wholeheartedly. This car is a reward for that dedication. I believe her story will inspire students across the country.”
Needless to say, Zhanaim, who had been preparing for the exam at Zerdeli since last year, was delighted with her results but especially, it seems, with her new toy.
“Incredibly happy” with exam results, “thrilled” with new car
“I started preparing for the test last August. It was tough at times, but I’m incredibly happy with what I’ve achieved. I was especially thrilled when I received the car. It feels amazing to have lived up to my parents’ hopes.”
Zhanaim is the second Kazakh student to have scored the maximum 140 points in the UNT in recent times, following in the footsteps of a peer in Turkistan, a city in the south of the country. It does, though, appear as if she is the first to have been rewarded for her intelligence with a brand new car.
