Shocking plane crash at Marana Regional Airport leaves everyone speechless
A new plane crash has been reported in the United States. A pair of aircraft collided at the Marana Regional Airport in Arizona, resulting in two fatalities.

The latest plane crash occurred at the Marana Regional Airport in Marana, about 21 miles northwest of Tucson, Arizona. The incident took place on the morning of Wednesday, February 19, and claimed the lives of two people, according to the Marana Police Department.
According to statements obtained by Univision Arizona, the incident involved two fixed-wing single-engine airplanes. Details of the collision are currently unknown. However, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are expected to address media inquiries later on Wednesday.

“The Marana Police Department is currently on the scene at the Marana Regional Airport, located at 11700 W. Avra Valley Rd., regarding an aircraft collision. At least one confirmed fatality has occurred. Details are limited at this time. The media presentation will take place in the large dirt parking lot outside the Marana Regional Airport. The FAA and NTSB will respond,” the department wrote via social media. A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed the second fatality to Univision Arizona.

Other plane crashes in the past month
Wednesday’s collision in Arizona comes just days after a series of aviation accidents in North America, including the overturning of a plane in Toronto, Canada; a fire involving an aircraft in Laredo, Texas; the collision of two units at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport; and another fire in Texas. None of these incidents resulted in fatalities.
However, in two previous accidents, one in Washington and another in Philadelphia, dozens of casualties were reported. The collision of a commercial flight and a helicopter in Washington claimed the lives of 67 people, while the second accident in Philadelphia resulted in seven deaths and 22 injuries.
