Shopper finds $800 shoes in a thrift store for 5 bucks: “I was in complete shock because like this ever happens to me”
Thrift stores can be goldmines for those who have an eye for what they see when perusing the racks of goods as one lucky shopper showed off on TikTok.

Jimmy Choo shoes are a favorite among celebrities, often seen on the feet of stars walking the red carpet. The London-based luxury brand was launched into the spotlight in the mid-1990s when Princess Diana wore them in public.
The designer shoes got another major boost on the TV show ‘Sex in the City’, whose main character, Carrie Bradshaw, sported several iconic styles, which the label revived this past spring in a special archive collection. So, you can imagine the shock one shopper had when she found a pair of Jimmy Choo heels when out thrifting, especially given the asking price.
“I found my Choo!”
Savannah, from Savannah, Georgia was out shoe shopping at a warehouse-style secondhand shop in Atlanta called 2W cursing her inability to find “cute shoes” in her size. “I’m a size 5/6, so when looking for shoes, it’s always so, so hard,” she told Newsweek.
But lo and behold, just then she looked down and spotted a pair of Jimmy Choo heels and they were just her size. “I was in complete shock because like this ever happens to me.”
Incredibly, the shoes were marked with a price tag of just $5. Jimmy Choo shoes typically retail for between $500 and $1,500, and because of their popularity among the famous can hold their value.
Savannah had to share her spectacular find and posted a video on TikTok with the words “somebody messed up” and the song ‘Take My Breath Away’ from the movie ‘Top Gun’. She then showed off the shoes before taking them for a spin in the store.

“Of course I bought them,” she shared, even though she “wasn’t in the market for heels.” Who wouldn’t have for five bucks.
She told Newsweek that for the time being she is keeping her Jimmy Choo heels on display in a place of honor in her closet. She’s just waiting for the perfect opportunity to be envy of the party.
