Sleepwalking gone wild: Check out what this woman DoorDashed in the middle of the night

From sleepwalking to sleep-DoorDashing: a Canadian woman woke up one morning to find a home-delivery order that left her “baffled”.

Update:

A Canada woman who says she has been dealing with somnambulism “all her life” recently woke up in the morning to find that, not for the first time, she had sleep-DoorDashed.

The object she had ordered, however, did represent a first. She had spent $8 on having a single sachet of honey mustard delivered from the fast-food chain A&W.

“I ran down the stairs and was baffled”

Miranda Knowles, from British Columbia, told an interview with Newsweek that her sleepwalking has led her to use DoorDash, a well-known food-delivery service, to buy all manner of items.

“Just regular things, onion rings, just a single bottle of Coke although I don’t drink Coke,” Knowles said.

“I either see the email notification when I wake up or I go to leave for work and there’s a bag of cold food at my door.”

But on this occasion, the DoorDash notification sent to Knowles - which includes a photo of her order placed at her front door - left her bewildered.

“I was so confused because I didn’t see any bag in the picture,” she told Newsweek. “So I ran down the stairs and was baffled to see the little sauce.”

“I do like A&W honey mustard but...”

Knowles added: “I thought it was funny so I showed it to my husband and he wasn’t surprised at yet another silly sleepwalking thing I did.

“I do like A&W honey mustard but I’m not sure why I would order it alone!

Doorcam vid goes viral

Footage of the DoorDash delivery was captured by Knowles’ doorbell cam. She later shared the video on the social-media platform TikTok; at the time of writing, it had accrued around 4.6 million views.
