1. Haulover Beach Park, Miami, Florida
The most popular nudist beach in the United, Haulover Beach Park is a tourist hot-spot, attracting more than 1.3 million panty-free people throughout the year. While National Nude Recreation Week in July is the most popular time of year, the good weather in Miami means there’s always someone looking like they’re smuggling seaweed.
2. Praia Massarandupió, Bahia, Brazil
While it might not be as popular as the famous Copacabana beach, Praia Massarandupió is certainly standout for its own reasons. The ‘Praia Naturista’ is well-known for its nude sunbathers, with one Tripadvisor user commenting that their trip to the location was “the best immersion in nature that I’ve experienced lately”. 3. Buhne 16, Sylt, Germany
Our first European destination that we’ve highlighted and it’s not where you might expect. This German beach has a positively shrivelling 17ªC (63ªF) North Sea water temperature that would make a Polar Bear pop on some pants. However, the summer months give the beach a level of sun that is not as strangling as some of the other destinations. And if you’re into your nudist beach exploration, there’s none that are as unexpected as this.
4. Lady Bay Beach, Sydney, Australia
Now this is where you want a nudist beach. Sydney is home to Lady Bay Beach, one of the most popular Australian destinations for those who like to show everything off. The intimate, closed-off location makes it perfect for a well-earned lie down, with one ambiguous user on Tripadvisor commenting “if only it was closer to my house.”

5. Playa Naturista Chihuahua, Uruguay
Playa Naturista Chihuahua was granted status in 2000 and since then it has become one of Uruguay’s most popular zones for nudists, with a nude hotel even opening nearby. Surrounded by dunes and Portezuelo Bay on the Atlantic coast, Playa Naturista Chihuahua has water temperatures that can get up to a pleasant 25ªC (77ªF).
