The emotional reunion of Ke Huy Quan and Harrison Ford 40 years after Indiana Jones
It’s been 40 years since Ke Huy Quan and Harrison Ford met on the set of Indiana Jones. Today they were reunited at the 95th Academy Awards
Ke Huy Quan, a child actor, met Harrison Ford on the set of ‘Indiana Jones’ over four decades ago. Tonight, Ford presented the Oscar for Best Picture to A24′s ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once,’ starring Ke Huy Quan, leading to their emotional reunion.
It was a night of reunions for Ke Huy Quan, who was nominated alongside another former co-star, Brendan Fraser. Fraser and Quan starred in the 1992 film ‘Encino Man.’ Fraser took home one of the biggest prizes of the night, Best Actor, for his performance as Charlie in ‘The Whale,’ another film produced by A24.
But it was ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ that stole the show, winning seven awards, including a win by Ke Huy Quan for Best Supporting Actor. His co-stars, Michelle Yeoh, and Jaime Lee Curtis, also took home major prizes, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively. The directors of the film, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, also shocked audiences by snagging the Best Director(s) award, which many thought would go to industry legend Steven Spielberg.
