The Party’s Over’ (Se acabó la fiesta) burst on the scene as the sixth political force in Spain in last Sunday’s European elections. The group, led by Alvise Perez (whose real name is Luis Perez Fernandez), will be represented in Strasbourg with three seats after receiving 4.6% of the votes cast.

Se Acabó La Fiesta are a far right-wing party that was founded in 2024. They have gained significant popularity on social media, with messages of anti-corruption and anti-establishment, as well as claiming to be ‘defenders of the truth’. While Pérez himself, as we’ll explain, initially had left/centre-leaning ideology, that has clearly changed with the growth and expansion of this alt-right group. The group has, according to some media reports, been trying to take away votes from another far-right party in Spain, Vox.

Alvise, born in Seville, is 34-years-old and is the youngest of four brothers. His father is a businessman and his mother is a housewife; from a very early age he began to get involved with political groups. In fact, he studied Political Science and Public Administration at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia while working for the socio-liberal party, Union, Progress and Democracy.

Who is Alvise Pérez?

His stay in the party led by Rosa Díez ended quickly. The United Kingdom, more specifically the city of Leeds, was waiting for him with an offer to work in the communication department of the Cervantes Institute.

By that time, his political ideas were becoming more oriented towards liberalism, so on his return to Spain he enrolled in a new political stage being the chief of staff of Ciudadanos in the Valencia region. It was here where he formed a solid friendship with Toni Cantó.

In addition to the actor, Alvise also maintains a close relationship with Vito Quilés. In fact, both appear on several occasions at the celebration party that ‘Se acabó la fiesta’ held in the Madrid nightclub, Cats. Model Andrea de las Heras, Pérez Fernández’s partner, was also there.

De las Heras was awarded first prize in the Miss Universe Spain 2020 and Miss Grand Spain 2020 pageants. During her participation she told that she speaks English, French and Italian and that literature, cinema and boxing are her main hobbies, as well as horseback riding, a passion she shares with her boyfriend.
