The two tablespoons a day that break down belly fat and strengthen autoimmune patients

Visceral fat, which surrounds key internal organs, is metabolically active and may negatively impact health.

Update:

Visceral abdominal fat is a type of fat that builds up inside the abdomen, surrounding vital organs such as the liver, pancreas, and intestines. Unlike subcutaneous fat (the fat just beneath the skin), visceral fat is metabolically active and can have very harmful effects on health.

This fat produces substances that can cause insulin resistance, which increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Additionally, it is associated with hypertension, coronary artery disease, and strokes due to its impact on lipid metabolism and inflammation.

Visceral fat also raises levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides, contributing to plaque buildup in the arteries. It has also been linked to a higher risk of colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and other types, due to the chronic inflammation it causes. Some studies have even shown that people with higher amounts of visceral fat have up to three times the risk of developing dementia.

If these reasons weren’t enough to avoid it, visceral fat can also contribute to the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, a condition that can progress to cirrhosis. It acts as an endocrine organ, releasing hormones and inflammatory proteins that disrupt the body’s hormonal balance.

Natural remedy

Given these risks, it is advisable to try to eliminate this type of fat from the body. In addition to diet and exercise, there are natural remedies, as revealed by Dr. Eric Berg, a nutritionist, researcher, and chiropractor specializing in weight loss, who has thirteen million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

According to him, the most effective way to break down and get rid of this “liver fat that spills into the belly” is apple cider vinegar, made from crushed apples, yeast, and fermented sugar. It contains some of the same nutrients as apple juice, such as vitamin B and polyphenols (antioxidants), and is also rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus.

To break down abdominal fat, just two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water and drunk three times a day would be enough: “Besides breaking down fat, it improves digestion and speeds up metabolism,” says Berg. “Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid. It’s powerful not only for breaking down fat but also for combating insulin resistance.”

Additionally, according to Dr. Dimitris Tsoukalas, who specializes in treating metabolic disorders related to autoimmune and chronic health problems, “Insulin, beyond its role in maintaining stable blood sugar levels, regulates fat burning, energy production, inflammation mechanisms, and affects overall body function.” Insulin resistance is the cause of fat formation in the liver. “It affects the health of patients with autoimmune diseases. It occurs when liver cells, adipose tissue, and muscle cells do not respond to this hormone, forcing the body to secrete increasing amounts of insulin to achieve the same biological effect, which further feeds the resistance phenomenon.”
