Last week, the Republican announced that Susan Wiles, Trump’s campaign manager for the 2024 presidential election, will be named chief of staff in the White House.
“Susie will continue to work tirelessly to make America great again. It is a well-deserved honor to have Susie as the first female chief of staff in American history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud,” Trump shared in a statement.
Border Czar: Tom Homan
“I am pleased to announce that former ICE Director and staunch defender of border control, Tom Homan, will be joining the Trump Administration to take charge of our nation’s borders (”Border Czar”), including but not limited to the southern border, northern border, all maritime and aviation security,” Trump announced.
National Security Advisor: Mike Waltz
“I am honored to announce that Congressman Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) has been appointed to serve in my Cabinet as my National Security Advisor [...] Mike retired as a colonel and is a nationally recognized leader in national security, a best-selling author, and an expert on the threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and global terrorism,” Trump shared in a statement.
Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy: Stephen Miller
President-Elect Donald Trump has named Stephen Miller as his deputy chief of staff for policy, solidifying the white supremacist’s influence as a major voice on the restrictive immigration measures in his second term.

“Bill is a smart and tenacious attorney who will help me advance our ‘America First’ agenda while fighting for election integrity and against the weaponization of law enforcement,” Trump shared on social media.
Secretary of State: Marco Rubio
According to Reuters analysts, Rubio was one of the likely options for Trump’s cabinet due to “his stance on an aggressive foreign policy with respect to the United States’ geopolitical enemies, such as China, Iran and Cuba.”
Defense Secretary: Pete Hesgeth
“Pete has spent his entire life as a Warrior for the Troops, and for the Country. Pete is tough, smart and a true believer in America First. With Pete at the helm, America’s enemies are on notice - Our Military will be Great Again, and America will Never Back Down,” Trump announced.
Department of Homeland Security: Kristi Noem

Department of Justice - Attorney Geneal - Matt Gaetz
“Matt is a deeply gifted and tenacious attorney, trained at William and Mary College of Law, who has distinguished himself in Congress through his focus on achieving desperately needed reform at the Department of Justice,” said Trump. Gaetz has resigned from his post in the House of Representatives, with the body’s ethics committee set to release a report on an investigation into possible sex trafficking.
Department of Health and Human Services - Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,
“Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again,” posted the President-elect on X.

“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, eliminate excessive regulations, cut unnecessary spending, and restructure federal agencies essential to the Save America movement,” the president-elect shared.
“This will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people!” Musk said.
Commerce Secretary: Howard Lutnick
Lutnick began working for Cantor Fitzgerald in 1983 right out of Haverford College, Pennsylvania. In 1991 he became the President and CEO and chairman five years later.
Over the years, he acquired an ever-greater share of the firm’s equity to the point where today he is the sole stockholder of Cantor Fitzgerald Group Management. So, why did Trump pick him?
CMS Lead: Dr Mehmet Oz
“I am honored to be nominated by Donald Trump to lead CMS,” wrote Dr Oz after hearing about his appointment. “I look forward to serving my country to Make America Healthy Again under the leadership of HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.”
Not everyone agrees that he has the experience to help the health of the nation, with some worried about what it could mean for the millions struggling with medical costs now, and those who may need support in the future.
