New York City could end the winter without snowfall.

While upstate saw record snowfall, the Big Apple could go into February without a single flurry, setting a record for days without snow after the start of a new year. The current record was set in 1973 on 29 January.

However, weather projections indicate that the record will be broken in the coming days since no drops of white matter are expected. This weekend, in fact, temperatures are forecasted to be more like spring than winter.
