Memories of the single ticket bought in Arkansas that scooped a $1.82 billion Powerball jackpot - the second-largest in the U.S. lottery history – are still in mind as more hopefuls play to win.

Since that huge Christmas Eve win, there have been no new jackpot recipients.

The winning white balls were 18, 21, 40, 53 and 60. The red Powerball was 23. The Power Play was 3x.

How much was the Powerball jackpot?

The Powerball jackpot stood at an estimated $64 million, with a $29.5 million cash option. It’s important to note that these are pre-tax amounts.

• Receive the jackpot in full, as an annuity payment spread over 30 annual instalments that grow each year.

• Claim the lump-sum “cash option”, which is smaller but paid all at once.
