Update:

The Powerball jackpot is within a stone’s throw of the $400 million mark after no tickets matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing.

What were the winning Powerball numbers on July 1, 2026?

The winning white balls were 2, 6, 26, 39 and 68, and the red Powerball was 6. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

What’s the jackpot now? Updated Powerball amount:

Before Monday’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot had risen to $375 million, with a $170.8 million cash option. However, there were once more no tickets that matched all six numbers: five white balls plus the Powerball. It was the 26th straight drawing without a grand-prize winner.

This means that yet more money has been added to the pot, increasing the top figure to an estimated $396 million ahead of the next drawing. The new cash value, meanwhile, will be an estimated $180.2 million.

It’s important to note that these figures are all pre-tax.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The updated Powerball jackpot will be up for grabs on Saturday, July 4. As ever, the drawing is scheduled to take place at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT.

What are your chances of landing the Powerball jackpot?

Priced at $2, a single ticket has a one-in-292,201,338 chance of winning the Powerball jackpot, organizers say.

If you do scoop the pot, you have two options:

  • Receive the full jackpot amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
  • Pick up the smaller, cash-value figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment

What other Powerball prizes can be won?

It’s the jackpot that grabs the headlines, but there are numerous smaller amounts to be won, too. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.

Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.

You can check out which non-jackpot prizes were won in Monday’s drawing on Powerball’s official results page.

Powerball prize combinations:

  • Match 5 white balls + Powerball: Jackpot
  • Match 5 white balls: $1 million
  • Match 4 white balls + Powerball: $50,000
  • Match 4 white balls: $100
  • Match 3 white balls + Powerball: $100
  • Match 3 white balls: $7
  • Match 2 white balls + Powerball: $7
  • Match 1 white ball + Powerball: $4
  • Match Powerball: $4

When was the Powerball jackpot last hit?

The Powerball jackpot has not been won since May 2, when two tickets - bought in Florida and Texas - shared a $20 million top prize. It was the second successive drawing to witness a double win: on April 29, a $143 million pot was split by ticket holders in Indiana and Kansas.
