The Powerball jackpot has rolled over again, after there were once more no tickets that scooped the grand prize in Monday’s latest drawing.

The winning numbers in the Dec. 15 drawing were 23, 35, 59, 63 and 68. The Powerball was 2. The Power Play multiplier was 4x.
How much is the Powerball jackpot and prize money?
For Monday’s draw, the Powerball jackpot had climbed to an estimated $1.1 billion (with a $503.4 million cash option), before tax. With nobody scooping the top prize, it has now grown again to an estimated $1.25bn ($572.1m), organizers say.
The current jackpot is the sixth-biggest in Powerball history.
When is the next Powerball drawing?
The next drawing takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Winners of the grand prize have two options:
• An annuity payment spread over 30 annual instalments that grow each year.
• A lump-sum cash option, which is smaller but paid all at once.
While the jackpot often captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller prizes. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many of the winning numbers they matched. Players who add the Power Play option can multiply the size of non-jackpot prizes.
