Beyoncé's new album, Renaissance, debuted the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart in August and has spawned a number of hit singles. It was her first LP since 2016′s Lemonade and has earned both critical and commercial acclaim.

The song ‘Break My Soul’ also topped the Hot 100 singles chart, becoming the singer’s eighth solo No. 1. However love for the album stretched far beyond that song and all 16 tracks on Renaissance reached the Hot 100 chart.

For weeks it has been suggested that Beyoncé would look to capitalise on the album’s success with a live tour and Page Six reports that her team are already arranging venues for next year. The publications claims that she is “booking stadiums around the world for the summer of 2023,” adding that an official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.

What to expect from Beyoncé's Renaissance tour

Back in July, shortly before the release of Renaissance, Beyoncé issued a statement to fans on Instagram saying that the upcoming album was just one part of a “three-part project.”

The singer said that she first came up with the concept during the pandemic, which was “time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative.”

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” she explained. “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment, a place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

We don’t yet know whether the second and third acts will simply be additional albums, or whether she has something different in mind. She has been unusually quiet after the release of the album and is yet to drop any music videos for the tracks.

Could this mean that the two remaining parts of the project are an accompanying live tour and music videos for the album? For now, her team are remaining tight-lipped on exactly what the future holds for Ms. Knowles-Carter.

She has not gone on tour since 2018, when she and husband Jay-Z were promoting their joint-album, Everything Is Love. Given the success of Renaissance it seems certain that there will be some live shows planned in the not-too-distant future, but no one knows quite what to expect.
